Your neighborhood certified organic farm Where to find us this winter If you’re yearning fresh produce this winter, you can find us and ~20 other vendors at the CitySeed Winter Market opening tomorrow, Saturday, January 7. The market will run weekly on Saturdays from 10am-1pm at the Conte West Hills High School on Chapel Street in New Haven. This week we’ll have lettuce, carrots, radishes and our jarred tomato products. There may even be a few jars of last fall’s honey harvest left. Get them while they last. We’ll continue to make an appearance at the Winter Market approximately every other week, weather and harvest permitting. If you’re not in New Haven, you can order directly from the farm using our online store, Massarofarm.square.site, also every other week. Sliding scale pricing allows YOU to select the tier that fits for you. And while payment in full is helpful for us, you can start with a deposit and then pay the balance in the spring, or choose a weekly or monthly payment plan, with automatic payments made through a credit card. Subscribe online Download a form WINTER PROGRAMMING RETURNS NEXT WEEK Winter Explorers Spots still available This 6-week class will be held on Sundays beginning next week, January 15th from 10am- 1pm. Program will skip February 19th and conclude on February 26th. This program will engage children ages 6-11 to embrace outdoor activities, no matter what time of year. This program is almost entirely outdoors; children must wear appropriate weather gear. Led by environmental educators Jim Matheson and Ashley Antoine. *Please note we often list registration at various prices to allow you to choose the payment tier that’s right for you. This is our effort to make programming accessible to everyone. Register for Explorers School Vacation Days Jan. 16 and Feb. 20 Massaro Farm offers a full day of activities and outdoor adventures on January 16 and February 20 (future dates TBA). Children ages 6-11 are on the farm from 8:30am-3:00pm and will explore the farms fields and woodlands. Participants should bring a reusable water bottle, lunch, and wear weather-appropriate clothing. Snack will be provided during programming. Program runs unless we have heavy snow of 3″ or more or icy conditions. $65/per child. Register January 16 Register for February 20 Ready to plant?
