Winter Rangers

Massaro Community Farm is offering its first winter education series for Children. Prevent cabin fever by sending your child to Massaro Community Farm for its first Winter Ranger Series! This program will engage children to embrace outdoor activities during the winter season. Participants will look for animal tracks in the snow, build a winter shelter, enjoy (safe) time by the fire, learn of the importance of the change in seasons, understand the impact of climate change on food production and much more. Led by trained environmental educator Corey Thomas. Mixed ages to resemble sibling feel for this small group educational series.

Campers explore the farm’s Nature Trail and record their findings in journals

NEW! Growing Sprouts

First Session: Sundays, September 15th-November 3rd, 2019 (8 weeks)


Ages 2-5 (with parent or guardian)

Cost $120

Children (joined by a caretaker - Mom, Dad, Grandma, nannie or other) will have the opportunity to explore the farm, visit our farm animals, harvest from the garden, try new foods, and experience the natural world.

After School at the Farm


Join us at Massaro Farm for "Kids Dig Farms," an after school program each spring and fall that allows kids (ages 6-11) to explore the farm and unplug for a while. We spend the afternoon exploring the farm, working in the Learning Garden, visiting our animals, walking the nature trail, and learning more about where our food comes from.

NEW IN 2019: After-school farm hand program for middle school students. Features, basic farm growing techniques, small animal care and woodland/wildlife exploration.
