After School Programs at the Farm

Join us at Massaro Farm for "Kids Dig Farms," an after school program that allows kids to explore the farm and unplug for a while. Children enrolled in the program are provided transportation directly from Beecher Road School. We spend the afternoon exploring the farm, checking the Learning Garden for what is sprouting or ready for harvest, looking for signs of animal friends along the nature trail, and learning more about where our food comes from.

Join us for our Spring Program!

Our half-day camps are led by an experienced environmental educator, and often include special guest appearances. Activities include stories, natural crafts, healthy snack time and activities that reconnect campers to where their food comes from.

The farm camp incorporates our walking trail through the woods, the learning garden, honeybee apiaries, a flock of chickens, soon-to-be-added rabbits and renovated dairy barn. This year campers will be taking care of some new worms and maybe even rabbits!  All staff is certified in first aid/CPR.

Campers explore the farm’s Nature Trail and record their findings in journals
