Beekeeping Workshops

Hosted by the farm and conducted by the CT Beekeeper's Association, our beekeeping sessions run from spring through fall each year. the workshops take individuals through various steps of backyard beekeeping, from hive assembly and bee introduction to detecting disease and preparing the hive for winter. In 2019, we will require advance registration for the first two beekeeping workshops.  All workshops after those require no registration; we work to accommodate all who turn out. Beekeeping workshops generally run 75-90 minutes and have a suggested donation of $10/pp.
