Join us for an afternoon of olive oil health and tasting with former board member and olive oil sommelier Tassos Kyriakides. Dr. Kyriakides will share recent clinical data showing the heart health benefits of olive oil in the diet. Then we’ll explore various qualities of oil, learn to tell the difference between authentic and spurious oils, and where to source the best oils. Includes tasting 4-6 oils, light snacks and drinks to cleanse the palate between tastings. Dr. Kyriakides is assistant professor at Yale School of Public Health and served on the Massaro board of directors for five years. Limited space. $15-$20/pp. Will take place outside under a canopy.
