Prevent cabin fever by sending your child to Massaro Community Farm for its Fall Explorers Series! This program will engage children to embrace outdoor activities during the fall season. Participants will look for animal tracks on the trail, build a survival shelter, enjoy (safe) time by the fire, learn of the importance of the change in seasons, understand the impact of climate change on food production and much more. Led by trained environmental educator Corey Thomas. Mixed ages to resemble sibling feel for this small group educational series.
8 sessions will take place on Sundays from October 18th to December 6th from 9:00-11:00 AM. This is a drop-off program.
Due to updated health advisories, distancing will be practiced while on the trails, and masks will be worn if participating in an activity that requires less than 6 ft of distance.
