keep farming feed people build community May 1, 2023 Thank you for supporting us in the Rock to Rock Earth Day Ride! We spend a number of months planning and preparing to celebrate Earth Day with great a event to take real action in response to the climate crisis and join with other green organizations to raise critical support for the work we do. Because it is critical and because we have organized together, we aren’t going to let little rain stop us… and even if its actually a lot of rain, and wind, and temperatures in the mid to low 40s, we are going to get out there and make it a memorable ride, so that’s what we did. We had a glorious Saturday in the cold rain, gathering with others and riding bikes around New Haven. And it was particularly glorious knowing that you have given us such tremendous support, helping us exceed our goal of raising $60,000, which will help fund our fresh produce donations to local hunger relief, health & human service agencies, as well as our on-farm educational programs and community events this year.
