2020 CSA- November Week 3

Massaro Community Farm Your local certified organic vegetable farm 2020 November CSA – Week #3 November 16, 2020 Notes From the Farm This week marks our final CSA harvest of 2020 and the last chance to stock up from our online store before Thanksgiving. Pickup orders this Friday between 1:30-6:30pm. Greens and roots will last for weeks without issue if stored properly, and our tomato products have a two-year shelf life. We’ve made a number of our produce items available in the store for this week, including carrots, potatoes, radishes, turnips, lettuce, salad mix and kale. We’re also offering a Pickling Roots Pack, with 10 pounds of mixed roots, and a Salad Bundle, with bunches of green and red romaine lettuce and mixed mustard greens. You can also purchase milk, eggs, cider, pork, cheese, coffee and more from other local vendors through our store. The store will be closed next week for Thanksgiving, and will reopen for pickup on Friday, December 4. We’ve swapped some of our crops with our friends at Provider Farm in Salem, CT, so we can include cabbage in the CSA this week.
