1722 litchfield turnpike
Located at the northwest corner of the intersection with Bradley Road, this house faces east and is sited quite close to the roadway. 1722 Litchfield Turnpike is small gable-to-street house with a full-facade porch. Colonial Revival in style, the porch is supported by round columns and has a simple, cross-braced replacement balustrade. The arrangement of the facade gable fenestration suggests that of a Cape. There is a full-sized window with 2-over 2 sash in the center and small 1-over-1 windows out under the eaves. Other details include the exposed rafter tails of the side eaves.
